Grilled Beef Tenderloin and Avocado Salad

Ingredients:
- 500 g beef tenderloin steak - 1 avocado
- 1 head of lettuce (e.g., romaine or iceberg)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon juice (optional)
- Fresh herbs (e.g., parsley or basil, optional)
Instructions:
1. Take the beef tenderloin steak out of the refrigerator and let it reach room temperature for about 30 minutes before grilling.2. Preheat a grill pan or grill to medium heat.
3. Season the steak with salt and pepper on both sides.
4. Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until the desired doneness is reached.
5. While the steak is grilling, slice the head of lettuce into strips and place in a large bowl.
6. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit and peel. Slice the avocado and add it to the salad.
7. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Drizzle this dressing over the salad and toss gently.
8. If desired, add lemon juice and fresh herbs to the salad.
9. Serve the grilled beef tenderloin alongside the avocado salad and enjoy!
