A delicious chocolate birthday cake topped with whipped cream and decorated with berries.
Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 10-12 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g butter
- 250 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 300 g all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 dl milk
- 100 g cocoa powder
- 1 dl cream (for topping)
- 200 g chocolate chips
- For decoration: berries, sprinkles, or your choice
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. In a mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour and baking powder, then gradually add to the batter along with the milk. Mix well.
5. Stir in the cocoa powder until the mixture is smooth.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
7. Allow the cake to cool before removing it from the pan.
8. Whip the cream and spread it over the top of the cake.
9. Decorate with berries and chocolate chips.
10. Serve and enjoy!
