Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a water bath or microwave. Stir until smooth.
3. Add the sugar to the melted chocolate-butter mixture and mix well.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5. Sift in the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt. Mix until smooth.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes. The cake is done when it has a nice surface and is slightly moist in the center.
7. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, you can decorate the cake with powdered sugar or chocolate frosting.
