A creamy and delicious chanterelle mushroom sauce that pairs perfectly with pasta. This recipe is easy to prepare and offers flavor in every bite.

Ingredients:

- 290 g fresh chanterelle mushrooms
- 1 tbsp oil
- White pepper (to taste)
- 1 small red onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt (to taste)
- 1 dl + a splash of cream
- Parsley, about half a bunch, chopped
- About 300 g pasta (for two servings)

Instructions:

1. Sauté the chanterelle mushrooms in oil until dry and season with white pepper.
2. Add the butter and chopped red onion to the mushrooms. Cook until the onion is soft.
3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
4. Season with salt and pour in the cream, allowing it to simmer until slightly thickened.
5. Stir in the chopped parsley.
6. If the sauce seems too dry, add a splash more cream before incorporating the pasta.
7. Cook the pasta according to package instructions and add it to the skillet with the sauce, along with a bit of pasta cooking water.
8. Mix well and taste. Adjust seasoning with salt or pepper as needed.
9. Serve topped with additional parsley and Parmesan cheese.
