A delicious and creamy rutabaga and parsnip casserole, perfect for festive occasions like Christmas.
Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 4-6

Ingredients:

- 500 g rutabaga
- 500 g parsnip
- 2 dl cream
- 2 dl milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 dl sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 50 g butter

Instructions:

1. Peel and dice the rutabaga and parsnip into small cubes.
2. Boil the rutabaga and parsnip in salted water for about 15-20 minutes until soft. Drain and mash.
3. Mix the mashed vegetables with cream, milk, eggs, sugar, black pepper, and nutmeg. Stir well.
4. Grease a baking dish with butter and pour the mixture into the dish.
5. Bake at 175°C (350°F) for about 45-50 minutes until the top is beautifully golden brown.
6. Let it cool slightly before serving.
