Ingredients:
- 400 g cooked potatoes
- 200 g cooked turnips
- 3-4 dl cream
- Salt to taste
- White pepper to taste
- Grated nutmeg to taste
Instructions:
1. Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
2. Cut the cooked turnips into thin rounds as well.
3. Grease a baking dish and layer the potato and turnip slices alternately in the dish.
4. Season the cream with salt, white pepper, and nutmeg.
5. Pour the seasoned cream over the vegetables.
6. Bake at 200 °C (392 °F) for about 45-60 minutes, until the top is beautifully golden brown and the vegetables are tender.
7. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
