Ingredients
- 2 cups rutabaga cubes - 2 cups potato wedges
- 250 g pork belly, diced
- Water
- 1 tsp salt
- 7 whole allspice berries
Instructions
1. Wash the rutabagas and cut them into cubes. Peel and cut the potatoes into wedges. 2. Cut the pork belly into small pieces.
3. Place the rutabaga cubes, potato wedges, and diced pork belly in a pot.
4. Add enough water to cover the ingredients. Add salt and allspice berries.
5. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat. Let it simmer on low heat for about 40 minutes, until the rutabagas and potatoes are tender and the pork belly is cooked through.
6. Check the seasoning and add more salt if necessary.
