A hearty and flavorful lamb stew perfect for cozy dinners. Preparation Time: 2 hours
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- A knob of butter
- 2 small onions, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 400 g lamb meat, cut into chunks
- 1 beef stock cube
- 1-1.5 liters of water
- 4 carrots, peeled and sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (such as thyme or parsley) for garnish
Instructions:
1. Heat the butter in a large pot over medium heat.
2. Add the chopped onions and minced garlic, sauté until soft.
3. Add the lamb chunks and brown them on all sides.
4. Crumble the beef stock cube into the pot and add water. Stir well.
5. Add the sliced carrots to the pot.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Let the stew simmer on low heat for about 1.5 hours, until the meat is tender.
8. Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs.
