Ingredients

- 180 g bacon
- ½ kg pork tenderloin or loin
- A splash of soy sauce or balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8-10 firm potatoes
- 2 rutabagas
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 dl beef broth
- Fresh herbs (e.g., thyme or rosemary)

Instructions

1. Cut the bacon into small pieces and fry in a pan until crispy. Remove the bacon from the pan and leave the fat in the pan.
2. Cut the pork into cubes and brown them in the bacon fat. Season with salt, pepper, and add a splash of soy sauce or balsamic vinegar.
3. Peel and chop the potatoes, rutabagas, onion, and garlic. Add them to the pan with the pork.
4. Pour in the beef broth and let the stew simmer covered on low heat for about 30-40 minutes, until the vegetables are tender.
5. Finally, add the cooked bacon and fresh herbs. Mix well and serve hot.
