Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli)
- 400 g chicken fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Chop the onion and garlic. Cut the chicken fillets into small strips.
3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté for about 2-3 minutes.
4. Add the chicken strips to the skillet and cook until they are cooked through and golden brown.
5. Pour the cream into the skillet and mix well. Let it simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
6. Add the drained pasta to the skillet and combine all the ingredients. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
7. Serve with fresh basil on top for garnish.
