This delicious spelt bread is hearty and nutritious, perfect for sandwiches or to enjoy with butter.
Ingredients:
- 1 packet of dry yeast
- 2 dl rolled oats
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 6 dl spelt flour
- 5 dl lukewarm water
- 1/2 dl rapeseed oil
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients: dry yeast, rolled oats, sugar, salt, and spelt flour.
2. Add lukewarm water and rapeseed oil to the dry mixture. Stir until the dough is smooth.
3. Pour the dough evenly into two bread pans.
4. Allow the dough to rise for about 30 minutes.
5. Bake the loaves in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for approximately 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
6. Remove the loaves from the oven and let them cool without a cloth to keep the crust crispy.
