A simple yet flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:

- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:

1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the rest.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic to the skillet and sauté until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
4. Stir in the red pepper flakes and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
5. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic oil.
6. If the pasta seems dry, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until desired consistency is reached.
7. Season with salt to taste and toss in the chopped parsley.
8. Serve immediately, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
