Spaghetti Aglio e Olio

A simple and flavorful Italian pasta dish. Preparation time: 20 minutes. Serves: 2.Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing until the garlic turns golden (about 2-3 minutes).
3. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet, tossing it in the garlic oil. If it seems dry, add a bit of the reserved pasta water.
4. Season with salt to taste and mix well.
5. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
