A simple and flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 400g spaghetti
- 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic to the skillet and sauté until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
4. Stir in the red pepper flakes and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
5. Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
6. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic oil, tossing to combine.
7. If the pasta seems dry, add a little of the reserved pasta water until the desired consistency is reached.
8. Season with salt to taste and garnish with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
9. Serve immediately and enjoy!
