A quick and easy Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes. Perfect for a weeknight dinner!

Ingredients:
- 400g spaghetti
- 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 100ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
- Grated Parmesan cheese, optional
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until it becomes golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
3. Add the red pepper flakes and sauté for an additional minute.
4. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic oil. If the pasta seems dry, add some reserved pasta water until you reach the desired consistency.
5. Season with salt to taste and toss in the chopped parsley.
6. Serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
