A simple and flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic to the skillet and sauté until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
4. Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve a cup of the pasta water and drain the rest.
5. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic oil. Toss to combine.
6. If the pasta seems dry, add a bit of the reserved pasta water until you reach your desired consistency.
7. Stir in the red pepper flakes and season with salt to taste.
8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
