A classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes. Perfect for a quick weeknight meal.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
3. Add the red pepper flakes and stir for another 30 seconds.
4. Quickly add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water gradually until the desired consistency is reached.
5. Season with salt to taste.
6. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
