A simple and flavorful pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and red pepper flakes. Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
- Spaghetti (200g)
- Olive oil (4 tablespoons)
- Garlic cloves (4, thinly sliced)
- Red pepper flakes (1 teaspoon)
- Fresh parsley (2 tablespoons, chopped)
- Salt (to taste)
- Parmesan cheese (optional, for serving)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water and then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until the garlic is golden but not burnt, about 2 minutes.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to coat with the garlic oil.
5. If the pasta seems dry, add a bit of the reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
6. Stir in the fresh parsley and season with salt to taste.
7. Serve immediately, topped with Parmesan cheese if desired.
