Spaghetti Aglio e Olio

A classic Italian pasta dish that is simple and flavorful, made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes. Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
3. Add the red chili flakes and stir for about 30 seconds.
4. Toss in the drained spaghetti and mix well, adding a little reserved pasta water if needed to help coat the noodles.
5. Season with salt to taste.
6. Serve the spaghetti hot, garnished with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
