A classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
3. Add red pepper flakes to the skillet and stir for about 30 seconds.
4. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine. If the pasta looks dry, add some reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached.
5. Season with salt to taste and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve hot with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
