A simple and flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:

- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:

1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, about 2 minutes.
3. Add the red pepper flakes to the skillet and stir for an additional 30 seconds.
4. Toss the drained spaghetti into the skillet, mixing well to coat with the garlic oil.
5. If the pasta seems dry, add some reserved pasta water until the desired consistency is reached.
6. Season with salt to taste and garnish with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
7. Serve immediately and enjoy your meal!
