A simple and flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes. Perfect for a quick dinner.

Ingredients:

- 400g spaghetti
- 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:

1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
3. Add the red chili flakes and cook for an additional minute.
4. Toss the drained spaghetti into the skillet with the garlic oil. Mix well to coat the pasta. If the pasta seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water.
5. Season with salt to taste and mix in the chopped parsley.
6. Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
