A classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water and then drain the pasta.
2. In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until it turns golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
3. Add the red chili flakes and sauté for an additional 30 seconds.
4. Add the cooked spaghetti to the pan, tossing to coat in the garlic oil. If the pasta seems dry, add a bit of the reserved pasta water.
5. Season with salt to taste and mix in chopped parsley.
6. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
