Ingredients:
- 400g spaghetti
- 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until the garlic is golden and fragrant.
3. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water as needed to create a light sauce.
4. Season with salt to taste and mix well.
5. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
