A simple yet flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- 400g spaghetti
- 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 100ml extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta cooks, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic and red chili flakes to the skillet, cooking gently until the garlic is golden but not burnt.
4. Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve a cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
5. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic oil, mixing well to coat the pasta.
6. If the pasta seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water to achieve the desired consistency.
7. Season with salt to taste and garnish with chopped parsley.
8. Serve immediately, with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
