A simple and delicious Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, about 2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
4. Stir in the red chili flakes and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
5. Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
6. Add the drained spaghetti to the pan with the garlic and oil. Toss well to combine.
7. If the pasta seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water to achieve desired consistency.
8. Season with salt to taste and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
