A quick and classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and sliced garlic. Sauté until the garlic is golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
3. Add the red pepper flakes and stir for about 30 seconds.
4. Toss the drained spaghetti into the skillet, adding a splash of the reserved pasta water if needed to help coat the noodles.
5. Season with salt to taste and toss everything together until well combined.
6. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
