Spaghetti Aglio e Olio

A classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes. Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
2. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown but not burnt.
3. Add the red pepper flakes and sauté for another minute.
4. Toss the drained spaghetti into the skillet with the garlic oil, adding a bit of the reserved pasta water to create a light sauce. Mix well to combine.
5. Season with salt to taste and garnish with fresh parsley.
6. Serve hot with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
