A classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: 2 servings

Ingredients:

- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic to the skillet and sauté until it turns golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
4. Stir in the red chili flakes and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
5. Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve a cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
6. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss it with the garlic oil. If the pasta seems dry, gradually add some reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached.
7. Season with salt to taste and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
