A simple and delicious Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: 2 servings

Ingredients:

- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta cooks, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic to the skillet and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
4. Stir in the red chili flakes and cook for another minute.
5. Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve a cup of the pasta water and drain the rest.
6. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic oil and toss to combine.
7. If the pasta seems dry, add a bit of the reserved pasta water to achieve the desired consistency.
8. Season with salt to taste and garnish with chopped parsley.
9. Serve hot, with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
