A simple and classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- Spaghetti (200g)
- Olive oil (4 tablespoons)
- Garlic (4 cloves, thinly sliced)
- Red chili flakes (1 teaspoon)
- Fresh parsley (a handful, chopped)
- Salt (to taste)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for serving)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden and fragrant, about 2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
3. Add the red chili flakes to the skillet and stir for about 30 seconds.
4. Toss the drained spaghetti into the skillet, adding a bit of the reserved pasta water if needed to help coat the spaghetti.
5. Stir in the chopped parsley and season with salt to taste.
6. Serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
