A simple and delicious Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and a hint of red pepper flakes.

Serving Size: 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, about 2 minutes.
3. Add the red pepper flakes and cook for another 30 seconds, stirring constantly.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet. Toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time until you reach your desired sauce consistency.
5. Season with salt to taste and toss in chopped parsley.
6. Serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
