A simple yet flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner. Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes (adjust to taste)
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Boil a pot of salted water and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until it becomes golden brown, about 2 minutes.
3. Add the red chili flakes to the skillet and stir for another 30 seconds.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to combine. If the pasta seems dry, add a bit of the reserved pasta water until the desired consistency is reached.
5. Season with salt and mix in the chopped parsley.
6. Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
