A simple and flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic and olive oil.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
3. Add the red pepper flakes to the skillet and stir for about 30 seconds.
4. Toss the drained spaghetti into the skillet, adding reserved pasta water as needed to help combine.
5. Season with salt to taste and mix well to ensure the spaghetti is coated with the garlic oil.
6. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
