A classic Italian pasta dish featuring garlic and olive oil, perfect for a quick and flavorful meal. Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti - 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. 2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic to the skillet and sauté until it turns golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
4. Add the red pepper flakes and cook for another minute.
5. Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve a cup of the pasta water, then drain the pasta.
6. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic oil, tossing to coat.
7. If the pasta seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached.
8. Season with salt and garnish with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if using.
9. Serve immediately and enjoy!
