A simple yet flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet, cooking until the garlic is golden and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
4. Once the pasta is cooked, reserve a cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
5. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic oil, tossing to combine. If the pasta seems dry, add a bit of the reserved pasta water.
6. Season with salt to taste and toss in the chopped parsley.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
