A simple yet flavorful Italian dish made with spaghetti, garlic, and olive oil.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté until the garlic is golden brown, about 2 minutes.
3. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet, tossing it with the garlic and oil mixture. If the pasta seems dry, add some reserved pasta water.
4. Season with salt to taste and toss in chopped parsley.
5. Serve immediately, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
