Spaghetti Aglio e Olio

A classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes. Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
3. Add the red chili flakes and cook for an additional minute to release the flavor.
4. Toss the drained spaghetti into the pan with the garlic oil. Mix well, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time to achieve desired consistency.
5. Season with salt to taste. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
6. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Spaghetti Aglio e Olio!
