Spaghetti Aglio e Olio

A simple yet flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes. Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti - 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions in a pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta. 2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and garlic. Sauté the garlic until it's golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
3. Add the red chili flakes to the skillet and stir for about 30 seconds.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet, tossing it in the garlic oil. If the pasta seems dry, gradually add some reserved pasta water until you reach the desired consistency.
5. Season with salt to taste and toss well to combine.
6. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
