A classic Italian pasta dish that is quick and easy to make, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

Serving Size: 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until the garlic is golden but not burnt.
3. Add the drained spaghetti to the pan and toss to combine with the garlic oil. If the pasta seems dry, add some reserved pasta water a little at a time until desired consistency is reached.
4. Season with salt to taste and toss in chopped parsley.
5. Serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
