A simple and classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
3. Add the red pepper flakes and stir for about 30 seconds to release their flavor.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine with the garlic and oil.
5. If the pasta seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water to achieve the desired consistency. Season with salt to taste.
6. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese, if desired. Serve immediately.
