Spaghetti Aglio e Olio

A simple and flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes. Preparation time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti - 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml olive oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt (to taste)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti. 2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once heated, add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, about 2 minutes.
3. Stir in the red pepper flakes and cook for an additional minute.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to coat in the garlic oil. If the pasta seems dry, add a splash of the reserved pasta water.
5. Season with salt to taste and mix well.
6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with grated Parmesan cheese if desired. Enjoy!
