Spaghetti Aglio e Olio

A classic Italian pasta dish with garlic, olive oil, and a hint of chili. Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
2. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
3. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
4. Add the sliced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet, cooking until the garlic is golden and fragrant, about 2 minutes.
5. Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
6. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic oil. Toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time until desired consistency is reached.
7. Season with salt to taste and toss in the chopped parsley.
8. Serve immediately, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
