A simple and flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing until the garlic is golden and fragrant, about 2 minutes.
3. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to coat in the garlic oil. If the pasta seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water to loosen it up.
4. Season with salt to taste and mix well.
5. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese, if using. Serve immediately.
