A classic Italian dish that's quick and easy to prepare, featuring garlic, olive oil, and a hint of chili.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking gently until the garlic is golden but not burnt.
3. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet, tossing it with the garlic oil. If the pasta seems dry, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
4. Season with salt to taste and mix well.
5. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve immediately.
