recipe

A classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and a hint of chili.
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: 2 servings

Ingredients:

- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:

1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden and fragrant, about 2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
3. Add the red pepper flakes to the skillet and stir for another 30 seconds.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet along with a splash of reserved pasta water. Toss to combine and coat the spaghetti with the garlic oil.
5. Season with salt to taste and add more pasta water if needed for desired consistency.
6. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve immediately.
