A simple yet flavorful pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and red pepper flakes.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and sliced garlic. Sauté until the garlic is golden and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
3. Add the red pepper flakes to the skillet and stir for about 30 seconds.
4. Toss the drained spaghetti into the skillet with the garlic oil. Add a splash of the reserved pasta water to help combine. Mix well to coat the pasta.
5. Season with salt to taste and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
