A simple yet flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes. Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti - 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain the rest. 2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, about 2 minutes.
3. Stir in the red pepper flakes and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
4. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time to create a light sauce.
5. Season with salt to taste and mix well.
6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
