A classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes. Perfect for a quick and flavorful dinner.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve about 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and cook until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
3. Add the red pepper flakes and cook for an additional 30 seconds to release their flavor.
4. Toss the cooked spaghetti in the skillet with the garlic oil. If the pasta seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
5. Season with salt to taste and mix in the chopped parsley.
6. Serve immediately, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
