A simple and classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:

- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic to the pan and sauté until it becomes golden and fragrant, about 2 minutes. Be careful not to burn it.
4. Stir in the red chili flakes and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
5. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
6. Add the drained spaghetti to the pan with the garlic and oil. Toss well to coat the pasta evenly.
7. If the pasta seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water until you reach the desired consistency.
8. Season with salt to taste.
9. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
